Overman: The Sidetracks Interview

It’s just so much fun to see one of our favorite artists at the peak of their powers making a run. And this year has been special in that way. Rebecca Porter. Kai Crowe-Getty. Erynn McLeod. Now Overman. And very soon (look for an upcoming post and interview) Ramona and her Holy Smokes.

Bazz wrote about Overman a few months ago and we made a plan to talk this month about Will’s Stranger record release and supporting tour. We caught up with him at the very cool Sidetracks Records in Charlottesville this week for a few songs and an Old Hank interview.

The man has never sounded better. The record is crushing the reviews. And the sky is the limit (if perhaps a little blown out in the interview footage).
